David Barr
David Barr currently serves as the Chairman of PMTD Restaurants and its affiliates, a multi-unit franchise business operating 39 KFC and Taco Bell restaurants. David also serves as a member of the board of directors for various companies, including Domino’s Pizza-China. David has previously served as the Past-Chair of the International Franchise Association and on several boards of directors, including Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group (owner of premium steakhouses), TITLE Boxing Club (boxing fitness studios), Rita Restaurant Corp. (owner of Don Pablo’s Mexican Restaurants), Bistro Group (franchisee of TGI Friday’s), The Jewellery Group ( the third largest retail jeweler in Australia), Samuels Jewelers, Inc. (the United States’ 7th largest specialty retail jeweler), Famous Brands (owner of Mrs. Fields and TCBY), and Real Mex (owner of Chevy’s and El Toritos).
Paul Fribourg
For the last two decades plus, Paul J. Fribourg has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Grain Company, an international agribusiness and investment company.
Paul Fribourg has extensive corporate service as the Lead Independent Director of Loews Corporation, a Board Member of The Estee Lauder Companies, Inc., Lead Independent Director of Restaurant Brands International Inc., a Board member of Syngenta AG, and a Board member of Bunge Limited. In addition, he is a Member of the Rabobank International North American Agribusiness Advisory Board. He is also a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Business Leaders Advisory Council for The Mayor of Shanghai and the Temasek Americas Advisory Panel.
Mr. Fribourg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He then completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard’s Business School.
Eric Hirschhorn
Mr. Hirschhorn is the President of Fridababy, a leading consumer products company. Previously, Eric served in various capacities at Restaurant Brands International from 2013 through 2017, including as the Head of Burger King Canada. Prior to joining Burger King, Mr. Hirschhorn served as General Counsel of 3G Capital from June 2008 to November 2010. From September 2007 to June 2008, Mr. Hirschhorn was an associate at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman Steiner. Eric also serves as a member of the board of directors of various companies.
Jim Kochalka
Jim Kochalka is a trained psychologist who provides executive development and advisory services to business leaders and global firms as they navigate business transitions and transformations. He has worked with a wide range of organizations, ranging from tech startups through large public companies. Since 2009 he has focused on the unique challenges of leadership and culture development for investment firms in both public and private equity.
Marran Ogilvie
Marran Ogilvie serves as a director of several public and private companies. Previously, Marran served as an Advisor to the Creditors’ Committee for Lehman Brothers International (Europe) Administration from 2008 – 2020. She was a member of Ramius, LLC, an alternative investment management firm, where she served in various capacities from 1994 to 2009 before the firm’s merger with Cowen Group, including as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
Scott C. Malpass
Scott C. Malpass is the former Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the University of Notre Dame, where he currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University’s Mendoza College of Business. Under Malpass’s leadership, the Notre Dame endowment pool grew from $400 million in 1988 to more than $14 billion as of June 30, 2020. Over Malpass’s 32 years of leadership, the Notre Dame Endowment achieved investment performance ranking amongst the top 1% of endowments globally, transforming opportunities at the University in all aspects of academic and student life. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of The Vanguard Group, Paxos Trust Company, and Catholic Investment Services, Inc. He is also a member of the Board of Superintendence of the Institute for the Works of Religion in Vatican City, commonly referred to as the Vatican Bank. Malpass is a 1984 graduate of Notre Dame and received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University in 1986.
Royce Yudkoff
Royce Yudkoff co-founded ABRY Partners in 1989 and served as Managing Partner for approximately 25 years. ABRY is a leading private equity investment firm focusing on the media, communications, and information services sectors and since inception has completed approximately $82 billion of investment transactions.
Currently, Mr. Yudkoff is The Class of 1975 Professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School. He teaches two courses on the subject of entrepreneurship through acquisition and has co-authored the book "Think Big, Buy Small: Own Your Own Company (Harvard Business Press). He is an active private investor and serves on multiple company boards.
